The Cisco Nexus 48 Port GE Module is designed for performance driven mission-critical Ethernet networks and contains 48-port Gigabit Ethernet module with SFP optics. The module is designed with enhanced features to help upgrades become more manageable and serviceable. It offers exceptional security with integrated hardware support for Cisco TrustSec, including line rate data confidentiality, data integrity and ACL processing for Security Group Tags. The fabric interface on the Module delivers 40 Gbps of bandwidth in each direction. The Cisco Nexus 48 Port GE Module is created for highly scalable 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks with a fabric architecture that scales beyond 15 terabits per second (Tbps).
