Yes. All six QSFP+ ports can be "channelized" using breakout cables. This allows each 40G port to function as four independent 10GbE ports, bringing the total potential 10G port count to 72.

Yes. The QFX5100-48S supports hot-swappable, redundant power supplies. You can order the unit with either AC or DC PSU modules depending on your facility requirements.

Q3. What is the difference between the 5100-48S and the 5100-48T?
The "S" model (this unit) features SFP+ slots for fiber or Twinax (DAC) connectivity. The "T" model features RJ-45 ports for 10GBASE-T copper connectivity.

Q4. Is the airflow direction configurable?
