WS-C3750-48PS-E Cisco Catalyst 3750 48 10/100 PoE Switch EMI
The Cisco Catalyst 3750 48 10/100 PoE Switch EMI has 128 MB of RAM, made with 48 x 10/100 ports, and is designed for extensive applications with a need for intelligent switching. Special features include flow control, layer 3 switching and traffic shaping, which can prioritize certain traffic to ensure that it gets guaranteed bandwidth. Another option would be leaving it to the built-in IGMP snooping tool to figure out where to send multicasts and thereby avoiding unnecessary loading. The switch also features auto-negotiation and auto MDI or MDI-X auto-uplinking which take care of the trivial port interactions to ensure that any higher-level routing or authentication methods you choose work as smoothly as possible. The switch helps increase connectivity with its four dedicated SFP mini-GBIC connectors.
