No. The 6800 series modules, including the WS-X6848-SFP-2T, require the Supervisor Engine 2T to function. They are not backward compatible with Sup720 or earlier supervisors.

No. This is a dedicated 1-Gigabit Ethernet module. The ports will only accept 1G SFP transceivers. For 10G connectivity, you would need the WS-X6816-10G or WS-X6908-10G modules.
